Greg Gundlach My grandfather, Beno J. Gundlach, founded our company in 1927, having invented one of the first hand operated tools for cutting roofing shingles. In the early 1950s, under the direction of my father, John B. Gundlach, our company began to develop and market installation tools for the flooring industry that make this work easier, faster and safer. Mr. Freddie Tsang of ByMethod and I started working together in 1995, and have had a trusted and productive partnership since then. Now, in conjunction with the technology inventor, Mr. Maurice Despins, we are working to produce improved techniques for sealing and seaming the cut edges of carpet, as well as developing an improved and more versatile type of carpet stretcher. Freddie brings Maurice’s innovative ideas into workable and applicable industrial prototypes for market testing and verification. The invention-to-real-product process is often challenging, but Freddie and his team have worked with us continuously to bring our innovative ideas into marketable products that we can sell in our specialty tools industry. ByMethod is an expert in developing product design that is functional and easily produced. They are professional, detail-oriented, and trustworthy.
