Freddie Tsang - Principal Freddie gained his first professional design experience at a design consultancy in Toronto in 1983 after receiving a travelling scholarship from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He began his career immediately upon graduation. His focus was on consumer electronics and toy design before immigrating to Canada. Freddie is a professional member of the British Columbia Industrial Design Association (BCID) and has served as treasurer for three terms. He was a founding partner of Form3 Design from 1997 to 2007, a successful industrial design consultancy based in Vancouver. A visionary entrepreneur, he founded ByMethod Design in 2008. Freddie’s design experiences stretch across many grey areas overlapping with industrial design and mechanical design. His vast knowledge base enables him to guide both the clients and the ByMethod team through the entire product development cycle. He is a firm believer in the value of being organized and setting up sensible routines. His design methodology is based on the analysis of project requirements and implementation of these routines. Freddie is a club badminton player. He enjoys practising judo with his children for recreation. |
